The rubber soles offer great traction!

Beautiful boots but if you have wide width these won't work for you. I bought a 7 B and at first I thought it a bit snug in width, since I usually wear "C" width but they are fine after initial break-in. This isn't the typical suede most people recognize, it is a smooth nap.
